The current source code of Ardour is always available from our source code repository. Full information on fetching code from the repository is available on this page.

FreeBSD

If you run FreeBSD, just install audio/ardour from the Ports Collection (cd /usr/ports/audio/ardour && make install). You might want to update your ports first using portsnap fetch update. If you want VST support, mark the appropriate checkbox; you will be instructed how to download neccessary file and where to put it.
