CD mastering challenge 0: howto pointer?

Ehlo!

I try to master CD’s and I have the following challenges with Ardour/GTK 0.99.3

0.) Any pointers to good cd-mastering howto - preferrably ardour specific :slight_smile:

Jamin is a good tool for that. Here’s a (bit dated) tutorial: http://jamin.sourceforge.net/en/tutorial.html and http://jamin.sourceforge.net/en/loudness.html about loudness in general.

Great links. They are indeed a bit old and I suspect if the simple things I would like to do could be accomplished with ardour alone. Anyway managed re-record via Jamin.
There was also pointer to rezound which also seems ‘outdated’ - I couldn’t get the rezounds ‘peak detector’ to work so the next question is :
