Searching for Native Instruments effects

Howdy!
There's an error message which opens when Ardour starts up that says the B4 can't be found and needs to be re-installed.
It appears to me that Ardour/something is trying to use several Native Instruments things as FX, and in particular can't find the Battery AU, despite the fact I do not have any these at all.

Hey Paul -
Where would that file be? I can't seem to locate any ardour-related system files at all.
Thanks so much for the stellar support here by the way! I'm very grateful, considering the problem is more with my system than your program.

@Yeggman: two choices:
1) you need to get the Finder to show you hidden files - see http://lifehacker.com/188892/show-hidden-files-in-finder
2) simpler (for some): open Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal and type the command: rm ~/.ardour2/au_cache

hmm..
I tried both -
I don't know if the terminal command worked, I didn't get any feedback or anything. The problem persists either way.
When showing hidden files, I still can't find ardour2/au_cache. I couldn't find any ardour files at all, other than the application, disk image, log and ardourcrash, but I have to admit I'm a new Mac user and I'm not completely familiar yet with how the file system works, so maybe I'm overlooking something..
Now an alert window about FM8 is coming up too, actually, which didn't happen before. Hum!

Found it.
If I remove the au cache, Ardour just makes another one on startup and the native instruments things still pop up.
@Yeggman: as an experiment, try removing ~/.ardour2/au_cache
