Suggestion on Recording Hardware

Hey!

I am currently planning to extend my workstation with an audio interface to record some guitar work.
I don’t have great requirements to the system, it should be rather cheap and allow me to record the output signal of my mixer on my linux system.. So one single Line-In channel is enough, no need for microphone preamps or ultra low latency.

Can you give me any suggestions which card I should buy? A simple PCI card is enough, but a USB interface would be great.
